Unique Holidays Calendar

  • November 7: U.S. General Election Day. On this off-year election, Virginia and New Jersey will vote for their governors and state legislative members.

  • November 17: World Peace Day. Another holiday to showcase kindness all over the world, World Peace Day encourages people to put their differences aside.
  • November 24: Black Friday. One of the busiest shopping days of the year in the United States, Black Friday falls on the day after Thanksgiving and includes significant discounts at retailers all over the country.

  • November 26: The Feast of Christ the King. Also known as Christ the King Sunday, this holiday is shared with Protestant religions and honors Jesus Christ as the King of all things.
